Best GPTinf Alternatives in 2026

ToolChaseTC Score for GPTinf: 3.3/5Last verified: September 2026

GPTinf is an AI humanizer wrapped in a seven-tool writing suite. You paste text a language model wrote, pick one of eight rewrite modes, and it returns prose intended to read as human-written, with a plagiarism checker, a grammar checker and a free AI detector around it. It scores 3.3/5 here, and the gap is structural: the entry plan buys 5,000 humanizer words for $9.99 a month, the pricing page opens on annual billing and never prints the annual charge, the sales pages promise a guarantee the vendor's own help center withdraws, and we found no API or browser extension on the site. The five alternatives below are the ones worth putting beside it.

Why look for GPTinf alternatives?

Start with what the category is for. A humanizer rewrites machine-written text so it reads less like a machine wrote it. Pointed at marketing copy you are allowed to generate, or at human-written copy a detector has false-flagged, it is an ordinary editing job. Pointed at graded coursework it is academic misconduct at essentially every institution, and GPTinf's own ethics page discourages it. The vendor's help center states the limit plainly: GPTinf does not promise that any specific detector will pass your text, and no tool can.

Next, what GPTinf genuinely gets right, because for some readers the answer is to stay put.

  • → The AI detector is free and unlimited on every tier, with no account and no word limit, which the help center's plan comparison repeats
  • → The cheapest paid plan makes the plagiarism and grammar checkers unlimited, so the bundle is real rather than decorative
  • → Unlimited at $59.99 a month on monthly billing removes the humanizer word cap entirely, a different shape from the metered ladders rivals sell
  • → All eight rewrite modes are on every plan including the free one, and PDF, Word and plain-text upload works on every tier

And the reasons people still leave, every one of them read from the vendor's live pages today.

  • → Entry value is thin. Lite is $9.99 a month on monthly billing for 5,000 humanizer words; Undetectable AI's $9.99 monthly plan gives 10,000
  • → The pricing page opens on its Yearly toggle, prints $4.99, $12.49 and $29.99 under a “/monthly” suffix and shows no annual total. The help center gives those totals as $59.99, $149.99 and $359.99 a year
  • → Word budgets reset and do not accumulate. The help center says unused words do not roll over, and that an annual Pro buyer gets 25,000 words every month for twelve months, not 300,000 up front
  • → The pricing page FAQ says every plan includes Ultra Humanization, “which guarantees bypassing all AI detectors, without exception”. The help center, on the same day, says the company does not promise any specific detector will pass your text
  • → The Lite card lists unlimited re-humanizing and unlimited selective rephrase. The help center puts both at Pro and above, titling its article “Selective Rephrase: re-run only part of your text (Pro+)”
  • → The free humanizer is 120 words signed out plus 120 more with an account, 240 in total, and the help center says the free tier is the trial, with no paid trial behind it
  • → We found no API, no developer documentation, no browser extension and no automation hook on the site or in the help center, so GPTinf stays a browser tab

Undetectable AI · 3.6/5Direct alternative

Best for twice the words at the same entry price.

The closest like-for-like swap, and the tool that makes GPTinf's entry plan look thin. It meters by the word: $9.99 a month for 10,000 words on monthly billing, or $5.00 a month billed annually, printed as $60.00 a year, with the ladder running through 20,000 words at $19.00 a month and 50,000 at $42.50 a month, then a monthly slider to 380,000 words at $209 a month. That is double GPTinf's allowance for the same $9.99. The rewrite controls are more specific too: readability from High School to Doctorate, purpose presets, and three humanization strengths, each a separate axis rather than one slider. It also closes the gap GPTinf leaves open, with a documented developer page carrying six APIs, a Zapier integration and a Chrome extension, detection billed at one tenth of humanization from the same balance. Two cautions from its review: the free humanizer deliberately runs a weaker Basic Public model that the interface itself warns detectors might still flag, and the same company sells the detector that grades its own output, the structural problem GPTinf shares.

QuillBot · 4.6/5Broad writing suite

Best for rewriting and editing without a word meter.

The highest-scored tool on this page, and for most readers the sensible answer. QuillBot is a four-tool suite, a paraphraser with nine or more modes, a humanizer with Basic and Advanced settings, an AI detector and the Flow editor, with a grammar checker, summarizer, citation generator, plagiarism checker and translation across 45 or more languages bundled in. Premium lists at $8.33 a month billed annually ($99.95 a year) or $19.95 month to month, with a promotional first-year rate of $4.17 a month billed annually running on QuillBot's Premium page at the time of its review. The structural difference from GPTinf is what Premium buys: it removes word limits across every tool rather than granting a monthly humanizer budget, so nothing has to be rationed and nothing expires at the end of a billing month. The free tier is unusually good as well: a fully free unlimited AI detector, a 125-word paraphraser and a daily-capped humanizer. Integrations close GPTinf's other gap, with native add-ins for Google Docs and Microsoft Word, browser extensions, a macOS app and mobile apps. Its review notes it is not a long-form generator, so draft elsewhere and polish here.

ToHuman · Score pendingAPI and pipeline pick

Best for humanizing inside an automated workflow.

ToHuman does one thing, rewriting AI text, and exposes it through an API, precisely the thing GPTinf does not offer. Free is $0 forever for 2,500 words a month with no credit card, and that tier includes API access at 60 requests a minute alongside every humanization intensity and document history. Pro is $19 a month flat for 100,000 words a month with the API at 300 requests a minute, and a $9 one-off pack adds 50,000 words that never expire and needs no subscription. Documented integrations cover n8n, Make, Zapier, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen and an MCP server, so the rewriting step can live inside a workflow instead of a tab. The vendor states the model is self-hosted and that submitted text is not passed to a third-party provider, a claim we report rather than confirm, and one worth weighing against GPTinf's help center describing its own free detector as sending your text to eight underlying detector services it never names. On the other side: 2,500 free words a month is a small allowance, and there is only one paid tier. ToolChase has not published a score for ToHuman, so none is shown here.

BypassGPT · 2.9/5Flat-rate volume

Best for a flat annual rate at agency volume.

The lowest-scored tool here, and it earns its place on one number. Basic is $12.00 a month on monthly billing for 5,000 humanized words, or $8.00 a month billed annually at $96.00 a year, worse value than GPTinf's Lite. The argument sits at the top of the ladder. Unlimited is $39.00 a month on monthly billing, or $19.00 a month billed annually at $228.00 a year, against GPTinf's Unlimited at $59.99 a month or $359.99 a year, so a flat-bill team pays roughly a third as much. Read the caveat with it: that card advertises unlimited words and unlimited words per input, while the pricing page's own plan configuration records 3,000,000 words a month and a 50,000-word cap per input. There is also a genuine free plan at $0 for 150 words a month rather than a countdown trial. The 2.9 comes from what surrounds it. Its homepage tells students they can submit essays and assignments “without breaching any academic guidelines”, which is false at essentially every institution we are aware of; no ethics or acceptable-use page exists on the site; the three-day money-back guarantee on every plan card is void once you use 1,000 words, a condition that appears only on a separate policy page; and no legal entity, address or named team is disclosed anywhere.

Phrasly.ai · 3.4/5Flat unlimited

Best for flat unlimited rewriting with an MCP server.

Phrasly sells one consumer plan and it is flat: Unlimited at $20.00 a month on monthly billing, or $10.99 a month billed annually, which the vendor's own price catalog charges as $131.88 for the year. There is no monthly word budget, only a 5,000-word cap per request, plus 100,000 plagiarism-check words a month on the same card. Set against GPTinf that is the same idea at roughly a third of the price, because GPTinf's Unlimited is $59.99 a month or $359.99 a year. Phrasly also closes the automation gap twice over: an MCP server exposing humanize_text, detect_ai_text and get_account_status, stated to work with Claude and ChatGPT developer mode and usable on a free account, plus a Business API at a $100 a month minimum that loads $100 of credits, the humanizer at $0.14 per 1,000 words and detection at $0.02 per 1,000 words. Its detector is free and needs no account, as GPTinf's does. Two things to know: the $2.00 three-day trial converts into the same Unlimited plan at a higher price than buying it outright, $39.99 a month or $239.88 a year against $20.00 or $131.88, and its refund policy requires that there has been no usage on the account at all.

Which one to pick

  • → QuillBot is the default recommendation. At 4.6/5 it is the highest-scored tool here, Premium removes word limits instead of handing you a monthly budget to ration, and it works inside Google Docs and Word rather than only in a tab
  • → Undetectable AI for a straight swap on the same terms: 10,000 words for $9.99 a month against GPTinf's 5,000, plus the API, Zapier and Chrome extension GPTinf does not publish
  • → ToHuman if the rewrite belongs in an n8n, Make or MCP pipeline. Its free plan includes API access, and 2,500 words a month is enough to prove the integration before you pay
  • → Phrasly.ai if flat unlimited rewriting is the requirement: $10.99 a month billed annually against GPTinf's Unlimited at $29.99 a month billed annually. Buy it directly rather than through the $2.00 trial, which converts higher
  • → BypassGPT only if a flat annual rate at volume is the entire decision, at $19.00 a month billed annually. Read the 2.9/5 review first, particularly the academic-guidelines claim
  • → Stay on GPTinf if you want the detect, rewrite, plagiarism-check and proof loop in one tab, or if you only ever wanted its free uncapped detector, which costs nothing. If you do buy, click Monthly first: the annual charge is not printed on the pricing page

Other GPTinf alternatives worth knowing

Well-known options that don't yet have a full ToolChase review, so we give no score and no pricing for them here. The evidence caveat at the top applies to all three: any claim about defeating a detector is the vendor's.
