Alternatives
Best StealthGPT Alternatives in 2026
StealthGPT is an AI humanizer: you paste text a model wrote, pick a model and a tone, and it returns a rewrite the vendor says will read as human. It sells by the week as well as the month and the year, with a word allowance and a per-request cap attached to every plan. Assessed against our published 8-parameter framework it scores 3.4/5, and this is not a category we rate highly. People shop around for three reasons: the pricing page sells no free humanizer tier, the per-request cap is 1,000 words on the entry plan whatever the monthly allowance says, and the vendor's own pages contradict each other on the numbers people buy on. The five alternatives below split into cheaper word meters, flat-rate plans, and one writing suite that is not sold as detector evasion at all.
Why look for StealthGPT alternatives?
Start with what it does better than its rivals.
- → Every consumer price is published without a login, on three billing toggles, and the terms of service state that all payments are in US dollars
- → The broadest integration surface in this category: three REST endpoints, a public MCP server, Zapier, a Chrome extension and an iOS app
- → The API is pay as you go at $0.20 per 1,000 words on the Standard model, with no subscription and, by the vendor's statement, words that never expire
- → Model and tone are separate controls, and every API response returns a 0 to 100 detection score and the words it spent
And the reasons people leave, all read from the vendor's live pages.
- → No free humanizer tier. The pricing page sells Pro, Max and Enterprise and shows no free card. The cheapest way in is $6.99 billed weekly for 12,500 words a week, or a $1.00 first month that renews at $29.99 a month
- → The $1.00 is a first month, not a trial. The monthly cards read “$1.00*” above “Introductory price · Then $29.99” on Pro and “Then $49.99” on Max, footnoted “Limited trial until first renewal”
- → The per-request cap, not the allowance, is what slows you down: 1,000 words per request on Pro and 2,000 on Max, whatever your monthly total, so a 4,000-word draft on Pro is four requests
- → There is no published acceptable-use policy. The terms list a “10. USAGE POLICIES” and an “11. API POLICIES” section in the contents, then run from section 9 straight to section 12
- → The refund position contradicts itself. Section 8 says all purchases are non-refundable; section 31 publishes a “Detected? Get your money back.” guarantee that excludes anything flagged by Originality.ai, a detector the same site advertises beating
- → The headline numbers disagree with each other. The pricing counter reads “50+ languages supported” while the plan table below it reads “100+ languages”, both live on 28 September 2026, and the bypass rate is 99% on two pages and 89% against Pangram V4 on a third

How they compare to StealthGPT
Two of them score higher than StealthGPT, one ties it, one scores lower and one has no published score yet.
Undetectable AI · 3.6/5
Best for the cheapest metered words with a documented API.
The closest thing to a like-for-like swap: a humanizer metered by the word, sold beside a free detector from the same vendor. Entry is $9.99 a month on monthly billing for 10,000 humanized words a month, or $5.00 a month billed annually, printed as $60.00 for the year. The ladder above runs to 50,000 words at $42.50 a month on monthly billing, each tier roughly halved on annual billing, then a slider to 380,000 words at $209 a month. What differs from StealthGPT is the controls and the conduct. Readability level, document purpose and humanization strength are three separate axes, six APIs plus Zapier are documented, and detection bills at one tenth of humanization. More to the point, this vendor publishes an ethics page naming cheating on schoolwork as unacceptable use, the policy StealthGPT's terms promise and omit. Weigh two things first: StealthGPT gives far more words for its entry price, 50,000 a month at $29.99 against 10,000 at $9.99, and the free trial here is 250 words in total across three days, on annual plans only. For the cheapest honest way into this category with a real API behind it, this is the one to buy.
QuillBot · 4.6/5
Best for writing quality rather than detector evasion.
QuillBot is the highest-scoring tool on this page at 4.6/5, and the only one not sold as a detector-evasion product. It is a writing suite: a paraphraser with nine built-in modes plus custom modes, an AI humanizer with Basic and Advanced settings, an AI detector and the Flow editor, around a grammar checker, summarizer, citation generator, plagiarism checker and translation. It also reaches further into the desktop: browser extensions, add-ins for Google Docs and Microsoft Word, a macOS app, and iOS and Android apps. On price, QuillBot's Premium page displayed $4.17 USD per month, billed annually, on 28 September 2026; our QuillBot review records the standard annual list as $8.33 a month, billed annually at $99.95 a year, with $19.95 month to month, and treats $4.17 as a discounted first-year rate that reverts to list. Budget for the list price. The free plan, in the vendor's own comparison table, covers “Paraphrase up to 125 words”, “Humanize up to 125 words, limited usage” and “Access AI Detector (limited)”. If the job is prose that reads better rather than a score on somebody's detector, this is the better purchase.
ToHuman · Score pending
Best for a real free allowance and an API-first workflow.
ToHuman answers the complaint most readers arrive with: StealthGPT wants a card before it shows you anything. Its free tier is 2,500 humanized words a month with no credit card, including every humanization intensity, document history and API access at 60 requests a minute. Pro is $19 a month, flat, for 100,000 words a month and API access at 300 requests a minute, and a $9 one-off word pack adds 50,000 words that never expire with no subscription at all. That pack works out at $0.18 per 1,000 non-expiring words against $0.20 per 1,000 on StealthGPT's pay-as-you-go Standard API, which is our arithmetic from the two vendors' own figures. The automation story is the other reason it is here: documented integrations for n8n, Make, Zapier, LangChain, CrewAI and AutoGen, plus an MCP server, the same shape of pipeline StealthGPT sells and a cheaper way into it. The vendor states its model is self-hosted, so submitted text is not passed to a third-party provider, which is its claim rather than a confirmed fact. One caveat: ToolChase has not published a rating for ToHuman, so none is printed here.
Phrasly.ai · 3.4/5
Best for one flat price and 5,000 words a pass.
Phrasly scores the same 3.4/5 as StealthGPT and sells on the opposite meter. One consumer plan, Unlimited, at $10.99 a month billed annually, which the vendor's own price catalog charges as $131.88 for the year, or $20.00 a month on monthly billing, flat for one account rather than per seat. Unlimited means unlimited rewrites, not unlimited length: the cap that remains is 5,000 words per process, five times StealthGPT's 1,000-word Pro request limit and the single strongest reason to move. The plan also carries 100,000 plagiarism-check words a month and up to 50,000 content-generator words a month, and the free detector takes unlimited checks with no account. Two warnings. The $2.00 3 Day Access product is not the price of the plan it converts into: the pricing page's own dollar catalog attaches $39.99 a month, or $239.88 a year, to the trial route, and the terms state an uncancelled trial is automatically charged the full subscription amount. And the consumer cards render in the reader's local currency, so check the dollar figure against your own checkout screen.
HIX Bypass · 3.1/5
Best for long documents handled in a single pass.
HIX Bypass scores lowest here at 3.1/5, and it is here for one reason that may be exactly your reason. Its three consumer plans are flat per account, with the humanizer and the detector metered separately. Standard is $14.99 a month on monthly billing or $9.99 a month billed annually, for 5,000 humanizer and 5,000 detector words a month with a 3,000-word input cap. Premium is $29.99 monthly or $14.99 a month billed annually for 50,000 of each. Unlimited is $59.99 monthly or $15.00 a month billed annually, with unlimited words and no input cap. On annual billing one cent a month separates Premium from Unlimited, so above Standard there is effectively one plan, and both the word cap and the input ceiling disappear. A 12,000-word report goes in as one piece instead of twelve StealthGPT Pro requests you then reassemble. Against that: the refund window is three days and 1,500 words, refunds are not processed automatically, and the entry plan's 5,000 words for $14.99 a month is poor value against everything else here. Note too that bypass.hix.ai now redirects to hixbypass.com, and HIX.AI's own plan comparison table carries no humanizer, bypass or detector row, so a HIX.AI subscription does not buy this tool.
Which one to pick
- → Undetectable AI for the cheapest metered entry with a documented API: $9.99 a month for 10,000 words on monthly billing, or $5.00 a month billed annually at $60.00 a year, from the only vendor here with a published ethics page
- → QuillBot if the job is writing quality. It scores 4.6/5, the highest here, and the only tool here sold as an editing suite first
- → HIX Bypass if your documents are long. Unlimited at $15.00 a month billed annually drops both the monthly word cap and the 3,000-word input cap
- → Phrasly.ai for a flat monthly price and 5,000 words a pass: $10.99 a month billed annually, charged as $131.88 a year. Buy it directly rather than through the $2.00 trial, which converts at a higher price
- → ToHuman to try the category for nothing or to run it inside a pipeline: 2,500 words a month free with no card, and a $9 pack of 50,000 words that never expire
- → Stay on StealthGPT if the integration surface is what you are buying: three REST endpoints, a public MCP server, Zapier, a Chrome extension and an iOS app, plus API words at $0.20 per 1,000
- → None of them for graded coursework. That is misconduct at essentially every institution we are aware of, and no vendor here carries the consequence for you
