Does badge placement affect my score?
No. ToolChase scores are based on our transparent methodology — features, pricing, usability, and value. Placing or removing the badge has zero impact on your score. We keep editorial and partnerships completely separate.

Yes. The badge program is completely free — you get a standard listing in exchange for badge placement. Advertising is an optional paid service for tools that want premium placement like featured spots on category pages or newsletter sponsorships. You never need to pay to be listed.
