Get your ToolChase badge
The ToolChase badge program is closed to new participants. This page stays up so tools we already agreed a badge with can generate their embed code.
What the badge does (and what it does not)
The badge links to your own review page at /tool/your-slug/. It is an attribution asset for tools we have reviewed, nothing more. Placing it, or removing it, has no effect on your ToolChase Score or on your position anywhere on the site.
It does not add you to any guide or roundup. Those work two ways, and neither of them is the badge:
- Editorial. Our editors add a tool when it genuinely fits a guide's criteria. No position and no score is guaranteed, and we do not take requests.
- Paid, and labeled. A Featured Partner entry is marked as sponsored wherever it appears. Numbered positions in a ranked list are earned on the scoring framework and are not sold at any price. See Advertise.
Please do not email asking to be placed in an existing guide. That is decided editorially, or through Advertise.

Generate your embed code
Enter your tool slug to get a ready-to-use, self-contained badge. Your slug is the last part of your ToolChase review URL, for example toolchase.com/tool/claude/.
Enter your own slug, then open the preview link once before you publish. A badge pointing at the wrong page sends your visitors to another tool's review.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the badge program still open?
No. It has ended and we are not taking new participants. This page is still here so the tools we already agreed a badge with can generate their code, and it will be retired once they have.
Does the badge affect my score?
No. Scores follow our published methodology: product quality, usability, value, features, reliability, integrations, market trust, and support. Placing or removing the badge has no effect on your score or your position anywhere on ToolChase.
Where should I place the badge?
Your website footer is the most common spot; it appears on every page and is subtle but always visible. Other good placements are your about page, your pricing page, or a press or awards section.
We never agreed a badge. Can we still get one?
No. The program is closed and there is no way to join it now. Nothing about that affects your review page or your score if you have one.
How is this different from advertising on ToolChase?
The badge was a free arrangement and it only ever linked to a review page. Advertise is the paid side: an editorial review for a tool that is not on the site yet, a labeled Featured Partner entry, or a sponsor slot in the newsletter. Paid entries are marked as sponsored wherever they appear, and numbered positions in a ranked list are never sold.
