Limitless AI

Limitless AI is a personal memory AI that captures your meetings, calls, and conversations and creates a searchable record you can query. It consists of a desktop app (free) and an optional Pendant ($99). Typical users are founders, executives, and knowledge workers who hold more meetings than they can manually track and want to never forget what was said or committed to. Early adopters skew toward productivity enthusiasts and tech professionals.

The Pendant is a small wearable device (about the size of a quarter) that hangs from a necklace or clips to clothing. It has always-on microphones that capture ambient audio, a visible LED that lights up when recording, and a button to pause capture when needed. Audio is sent to the Limitless app on your phone via Bluetooth, then transcribed and added to your Lifelog. Battery lasts a full day; you charge it overnight like a watch.

Limitless has stronger privacy guarantees than most always-on capture tools: the Pendant displays a visible LED when recording, transcription preprocessing happens on-device before uploading, consent guidelines are published publicly, and you can delete Lifelog entries at any time. That said, always-on capture raises ethical questions regardless of technical safeguards — always inform people in private conversations that you are capturing, and check local laws. Limitless provides compliance resources but responsibility is ultimately on the user.

For active users, yes. Pro unlocks unlimited Lifelog storage, Lifelog Chat (the conversational interface for querying your memory), advanced AI search, and team sharing. Without Pro, the free tier is limited to recent history only. For anyone who buys the Pendant, Pro is essentially required to get full value. For desktop-only users with light meeting loads, the free tier works as a trial.

Both capture meetings via desktop app without joining as a bot. Limitless is more ambitious as a personal memory product — it captures in-person conversations through the Pendant, offers Lifelog Chat, and builds long-term searchable memory. Lifelog Chat is a conversational interface on top of your personal memory — similar to ChatGPT but grounded in your own captured audio. You ask questions like 'What did Mike promise at the board meeting?' or 'Summarize my last five calls with our biggest customer' and Limitless returns answers sourced from your Lifelog transcripts. It is the feature that distinguishes Limitless from simple meeting notetakers — memory becomes queryable the way a human brain is.
