What is Galileo AI?
Galileo AI was a text-to-UI generator that produced editable, high-fidelity wireframes and mobile app designs from natural language prompts, the original leader in the category when it launched in 2023. The workflow was simple: you described what you wanted to design ("an e-commerce checkout flow with guest checkout, saved cards, and shipping selection") and Galileo produced a polished UI within seconds, including proper layout, typography, imagery, and interactive states. Designs were editable inside Galileo and exportable to Figma with layers and components preserved, or to developer-ready code (HTML/CSS for web, SwiftUI/React Native for mobile). In mid-2025, Galileo AI was acquired by Google and was merged into Google Stitch, a broader AI design product in the Gemini ecosystem. The standalone product is gone: usegalileo.ai now permanently redirects to Google Stitch at stitch.withgoogle.com, so you can no longer sign up for Galileo AI. While the transition was under way the product was free in beta with some generation limits. Before that, Galileo AI offered paid tiers starting at $19/month with credit-based pricing (1,200 credits per month = roughly 120 design generations and edits, with unlimited code and Figma exports). Compared to Uizard, Galileo produced more polished and production-ready output but had a shallower editor, most users generated in Galileo and refined in Figma. Compared to Figma's own AI features, Galileo's generation was more sophisticated for complete UIs from prompts. The Google Stitch transition has now happened, and Stitch's own pricing page renders nothing without a signed-in Google account, so we are not quoting its tiers. What made Galileo worth using, excellent text-to-UI generation with clean Figma handoff, now lives inside Stitch.
