What is Genspark?
Genspark is an all-in-one AI workspace built around autonomous agents. Its centre of gravity is Super Agent, which takes a request, breaks it into steps, chooses its own tools and runs the job through to a finished output: a research brief, a slide deck, a spreadsheet, a document, a website, an image or a video. Around it sit purpose-built agents, AI Slides, AI Sheets, AI Docs, Genspark Code, AI Image, AI Video, AI Music, AI Audio and AI Meeting Notes, all drawing on one shared pool of credits.
One thing to be clear about, because most write-ups of Genspark are out of date: it is no longer a search engine. Genspark launched in June 2024 as an ad-free AI search tool whose signature output was the Sparkpage, a generated, citation-backed research page. That framing has been retired. As of September 2026 the word Sparkpage appears nowhere in Genspark's product navigation, help centre or App Store listing, and the only mentions left on genspark.ai sit in 2024 blog posts. The current release is AI Workspace 6.0, announced on the company blog on 20 July 2026, and it is positioned squarely as an agent platform.
Underneath, Genspark routes across more than 70 models (the GPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok families among them) so you can pick a model per prompt without paying for each vendor separately. Paid plans bundle unlimited zero-credit use of AI Chat and AI Image; everything else is metered in credits. It suits people who want one subscription to cover research, documents, decks and media, a similar ambition to PopAi but considerably broader. It is a poor fit if what you actually want is a fast one-shot answer engine: for that, Perplexity is still the better daily driver.
Genspark also makes the Genspark AI Browser, for macOS 15 or later (Apple silicon and Intel) and for Windows. Its On-Device Free AI runs models locally on your computer, at no cost and without an internet connection. Super Agent works on any website to find deals, compare products and analyse reviews, Autopilot Mode browses and completes web tasks for you, and a built-in MCP Store connects more than 700 tools, including Discord, GitHub, Notion and Slack. The browser also blocks ads.

Free: 100 credits a day, topped up automatically, with no time limit. Enough to try the agents, run a few small jobs and generate a handful of images. Uploads are capped at 500 MB. Cancel a paid plan and you land back here.
Plus, $24.99/month: 10,000 credits a month at the entry tier, 50 GB of AI Drive storage, access to the current top-tier text, image, video and audio models, commercial use rights, and unlimited zero-credit use of AI Chat and AI Image. Plus is sold in credit tiers, so you can buy headroom without moving to Pro: 21,000 credits at $49.99/month, 32,000 at $74.99/month and 44,000 at $99.99/month. Paid yearly, Plus is a single charge of $239.99 for the year, about $20 a month.
Pro, $249.99/month: from 125,000 credits a month, 1 TB of AI Drive storage, and exclusive access to the highest-end image models (Nano Banana Pro at 4K, Nano Banana 2 at 4K and GPT Image 2 at high quality). Pro also sells credit tiers above the entry level. Genspark says annual billing is charged as one lump sum for the year and saves about 20 percent, but its personal plan page requires a login, so we are not quoting a Pro annual figure we could not read.
Team, $30 per seat per month: 2 to 150 seats, each with 12,000 credits a month and 60 GB of AI Drive, plus SSO and SAML, centralised billing, member roles and usage analytics. Teams are opted out of model training by default and admins can see per-seat credit usage but not members' project content. Enterprise starts at 151 users, includes 25,000 credits per seat, and is priced by contract.
Credits are the thing to watch. They meter every generation and scale with model tier, output length, image resolution, video duration and how many versions you ask for. Plan credits do not roll over at the end of a billing period; separately purchased top-ups (Credits Pack at $19.99, Credits Mega Pack at $39.99) stay valid for three months and do carry across cycles. Two things to know before you subscribe: the unlimited chat and image allowances are guaranteed only through 31 December 2026, with no published terms beyond that date, and refund windows are short, 24 hours on monthly and 72 hours on annual, widening to 14 days in the EU, UK and Turkey and 7 days in Korea.
