About Adobe Podcast

Adobe Podcast is a browser-based suite of AI audio and video tools built around three products: Enhance Speech, Studio and Mic Check. Enhance Speech is the headline feature, an AI model that strips noise and echo out of spoken recordings and returns broadcast-grade voice, and since March 2026 it also performs source separation, splitting a mixed file into independent speech, background noise and music layers you can rebalance or download as stems. Studio, still labelled BETA by Adobe, handles remote multitrack recording by shared link, transcript-based editing, video recording and audiograms. Mic Check analyses your microphone setup before you hit record and is free on every plan. Adobe Podcast is no longer a free beta: there is a capped free tier and a paid Premium plan that also carries Adobe Express Premium.

Mic Check is free on both plans. The Premium plan adds video, bulk upload, the enhancement strength slider, files up to 2 hours and 1 GB, 4 hours of enhancement per day, unlimited Studio downloads, speaker-separated original recordings and all Adobe Express Premium design features. Since March 2026 Premium adds source separation, so speech, background noise and music become independent layers you can rebalance or export as stems. Adobe's own guidance is to keep the default strength and dial it back if output starts to sound robotic, which only Premium users can do.
