Q: How current is ToolChase data?

Every active tool is re-verified at least monthly against the vendor's own site: pricing, free tier status, and whether the product still exists. Each tool page shows its own Last verified date, and this changelog records what each sweep found, including 16 tools discontinued between mid-June and mid-August 2026 alone.

Machine-readable pricing signals added to 124 tool pages: an explicit free-tier boolean plus verified entry prices, so "is there a free plan" has a definitive answer.
Entry-price corrections verified against vendors, including Gamma, ElevenLabs, Notion, GitHub Copilot, Lumen5, and Later.
Availability notices added to every page that mentions a discontinued product as an option.

July was a re-verification month: the summer freshness cycle re-checked pricing and availability across the directory, and the August 2026 study snapshot was prepared. The directory baseline for this changelog was set on July 25, 2026.
